waterSHED™

The waterSHED™ proprietary system by ECS is a design-build cast-in-place concrete structure that tackles water management challenges from stormwater detention and filtering to primary and secondary containment. The waterSHED™ system provides a cost-effective design and a durable structure. In addition, with the ECS cast-in-place system, the timeline from purchase order to project completion is significantly shorter than what you would endure with prefabricated parts. On your next project, delegate the specialized water management structures to ECS and free up the site contractor to focus on what they do best.

Detention/Filtration/Containment System
The waterSHED™ system satisfies the following design and construction standards:
  • ASTM (American Society of Testing and Materials)
  • AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials)
  • ACI (American Concrete Institute)
  • CRSI (Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute)
  • NFPA (National Fire Protection Association)
  • DOTs (State Departments of Transportation)
  • EPA NPDES permits
  • LEED-certified building projects

When to use waterSHED™

Stormwater Detention and Filtering

The waterSHED™ system satisfies EPA’s NPDES requirements for stormwater quality and quantity. It is a structural Best Management Practice (BMP) that maximizes usable space where space is valuable. waterSHED™ also earns credits on LEED-certified building projects.

Primary and Secondary Containment

The waterSHED™ system provides liquid storage for wastewater treatment, hazardous materials, and fire protection. This system satisfies local, state and federal mandates to protect our precious environment and critical infrastructure.

Each of these unique waterSHED™ applications is a cast-in-place concrete structure that offers the most sensible solution for your project’s water management challenges.
